Ton Armchairs or Club chairs in Bentwood and Camel Upholstery Czech Republic 1970s Ton in the Czech Republic manufactured this set of elegant armchairs or club chairs from the 1970s. The chairs feature a beautiful bentwood frame and camel upholstery, with a round backrest that surrounds the user. Ton was founded after WWII in former Thonet factories and continued the furniture-making tradition set up by Thonet. In the 1960s, TON collaborated with various architects to develop new designs using bentwood technology, resulting in more contemporary designs. These chairs are in perfect vintage condition, with only minor patina on the wood parts. However, we recommend reupholstering them before use, as some upholstery may be threadbare with loose seams and minor stains. These fantastic chairs would be a striking addition to any interior, including living rooms, family rooms, screening rooms, or offices. They would also fit perfectly in hospitality or corporate locations like boutique hotel lobbies, cocktail bars, members' clubs, or luxury boutiques.
