Pair of Mid-Century Modern Vintage Jylland Beech Wood Chairs from Jio Möbler

About the Item

This pair of modernist Jylland armchairs was produced by Jio Möbler in 1953. The frame is made of varnished beech wood. Slender legs gently merge into a subtly tilted backrest. The seat and backrest are upholstered with high-quality black synthetic leather. The armchairs are very comfortable and perfectly reflect the spirit of the Mid-Century Modern era. Jio Möbler was founded in 1941 in Jönköping, Sweden. To this day, the company produces unconventional, exclusive and hand-made furniture upholstered with the highest quality fabrics. Production is based on many years of tradition, high-quality materials and craftsmanship. Armchairs are in very good vintage condition. The upholstery has been renewed. The seat is 40 cm high.
