Pascal Mourgue Set of Four 'Biscia' Chairs in Cognac Leather

About the Item

Pascal Mourgue for Steiner, set of 4 'Biscia' dining chairs, steel, cognac leather, France, 1960s. Set of four 'Biscia' cantilever chairs in patinated cognac leather designed by Pascal Mourgue. These chairs have a very dynamic appearance due their frame in tubular chromed steel. The frame of these cantilever chairs is S-shaped and consist of one bent tube. Upholstered with leather in cognac color. An admirable patina is visible on the leather, which creates a vibrant surface and a striking contrast with the steel. Please note that these chairs are in used condition. The leather shows a very strong patina and damages to it, loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
