About the Item

We are delighted to offer this stunning vintage fully restored Chesterfield cigar brown leather Library suite. A very rare find, I never come across original sets of three pieces from this era and especially not the fully buttoned sets. We have restored the suite and it is in better than retail new condition throughout. The feet are all new, they are hand turned solid walnut which has been traditionally French polished. The restoration has been extensive, my leather polishers have stripped out the old faded colour, they have then hand dyed each piece this lovely whiskey brown colour This is the finest set of this type you will find anywhere, its true library set. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
