About the Item
Peter Shire bone chair designed and made in the Studio of Peter Shire, 1983. Only two of these chairs were ever made. The other reside in a private collection in Germany. Very large scale, Postmodern design in green, gray, and orange laminate with a purple seat cushion and grey backrest cushion. All original and in very good condition. The fading you see on yellow arm is intentional. In communication with Peter, we know that the arm was a more dramatic gradation of color, but has faded to a softer ton over the years. Our provenance is from Peter Shire himself so there is no mistaking its authenticity.
