A modern reinterpretation of a mid-century boucle lounge chair. Living up to its curvy appearance, the Kumura lounge chair is beautiful and super comfortable. This contemporary chaise longue's design reaches into the trendy shapes of organic design to find inspiration in a Japanese traditional fruit. The chair's upholstered stitching detailing in a "Y" pattern further characterizes this unique design.
A collectible piece, by international designer Larissa Batista. This listing features and includes both lounge chair and ottoman in a natural white boucle finish, which we find to be as timeless as a great design can be.

Larissa Batista
Larissa Batista is a Brazilian designer, currently a senior partner at the Know How Design Studio, in Porto Alegre. She is also member of the Raiz Project since 2017. Working with product, furniture and interior design, her products compose many projects of famed architects and decorators around the world. Being mostly well-know for her original aesthetic and the creation of the Wave chaise lounge, Larissa has had a lot of success showcasing her furniture pieces in international renowned fairs such as ICFF in NYC and isaloni in Milan, Italy.
