This versatile lounge chair by Dutch designer Rob Eckhardt can be used in two different ways. With his design, Eckhardt wanted to create a piece on which you could not only sit straight, but also lie down. This lounge form is constructed by the asymmetrical armrests that are connected via the metal frame. Between all four upholstered elements open space is left to give the chair an airy look. The “Groeten Uit Holland” design is based on the shape of a blooming tulip that is characteristic for the Dutch landscape. This concept is even more emphasized by the original upholstery that shows tulips.
Please note that the item is in good, used condition. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
