About the Item
Competent, elegant, timeless… the DownTown chair is for demanding decision-makers looking for comfort and sophistication. A sleek technical seat handcrafted by the Poltrona Frau craftsmen, a guarantee of its quality. Much more than a stunning sculpture, the DownTown chair is a sensual and distinctive Jean-Marie Massaud creation.
In the President version the base is in polished aluminium composed of five spokes with soft automatic braking “W” swivel castors that adapt to all kinds of floor. The DownTown chairs are height-adjustable and can be swivelled by pulling up the lever underneath the seat on the right and come with the “Syncron” oscillation mechanism for the backrest and seat, which enables the chair to adjust to the body of the user, supporting their movements and providing extraordinary comfort. The chair’s mechanism allows it to be locked into four different positions.
