Set of Six American Hepplewhite mahogany period side chairs with carved splat backs consisting of wheat sheaths and centered floral oval medallions, seat bottoms are upholstered in white muslin with horse hair and cotton padding, original cross stretchers, and resting on tapered squared fluted legs. Early 19th Century.
