Swedish Grace Chiffonier by Erik Chambert for Chamberts Möbelfabrik, 1930s

About the Item

This Swedish grace chiffonier was designed by Erik Chambert during the 1930s for his own company, Chamberts Möbelfabrik. It displays a very high quality of craftsmanship, with a wide variety of different exotic wood inlays. Among those are rosewood, root veneer and elm. This design has some neoclassical influences including the carved light green pillar on the interior. The writing tabletop with original blue felt is adjustable and can be drawn out for easier use. Very good condition.
