Vintage Nisse Strinning for string pinewood shelving system, Sweden, 1960s
This shelving system with its minimalistic looks, was designed by Swedish architect Nils “Nisse” and his wife Kajsa Strinning in 1949.
White metal risers with three pinewood veneer shelves. Rack is free standing but can also be hung at the wall. Shelves can be easily rearranged.
A nice Scandinavian alternative to the shelving systems or wall unit by Poul Cadovius.
