19th Century Gustavian Wardrobe

About the Item

This 19th century Swedish armoire was handcrafted from solid pine, and features two large doors over two lower doors with hand forged pulls. The two lower doors appear to be drawers, however they lift up on hinges. The wardrobe has tailored molding on the crown, base, door panels and angled sides. The piece has shelving on the inside and adding to its charm, the angled side panels open to reveal more shelves. The armoire has been scraped, however there are traces of its original paint. Perfect for the room that needs more decorative storage, circa 1860s 2 keys, that work on the side panel doors. Main lock on the front door does not work.
