Square Travertine and Chrome Coffee Table
About the Item
Two-tier square, with rounded corners, travertine coffee table. The lower travertine portion is secured to a recessed chrome base. That structure continues through the center of the travertine with a chromed steel support further recessed giving the top a "floating" appearance. There is a larger wooden platform attached to that support upon which the travertine top rests securely. You cannot see the wood support unless you look from under the tabletop. A thoughtful design that creates a visual that defies physics as the top sits very securely on the base.
The top has been professionally polished so there are no water marks or scratches. There are a few natural imperfections around the edges of the stone which is normal with travertine. Please enlarge the photos to see details.
