Original vintage car advertising poster for Chevrolet, the most elegant of the small cars / der eleganteste der kleinen wagen. Great artwork by Emerich Huber (1903-1979) of a lady wearing a yellow Georgian period dress with two children wearing Middle Eastern style costumes with pointed shoes and turbans holding extended feather fans next to a peacock looking up at the lady, a Chevrolet classic car (possibly a 22 Chevrolet Series 490 Coupe) in front of a decorative gate to a house with trees growing over the walls set inside a circle in the background under a red, white and blue Chevrolet logo. Chevrolet (known as Chevy) was founded in 1911 and is part of General Motors. Large size. Good condition, restored paper losses in margin, restored tears, staining, foxing on margin, backed on linen.
