Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster - Back Them Up! Britain's new Airborne Army goes into action in Europe - featuring a dynamic battle scene depicting British soldiers in uniform wearing their maroon berets (the Red Berets of the Parachute Regiment created in 1942; nicknamed the Rote Teufel / Red Devils by the German troops) jumping out of a glider plane with their guns firing at German soldiers in front of planes and explosions in the background, the title and text - Back Them Up! - in black letters against the yellow border below. Printed in England by Thos. Forman and Sons Ltd Nottingham. Good condition, restored folds, minor staining, backed on linen.
