Rare early original advertising poster for Toyota. Colorful Mid-Century image on a blue and white background featuring two men wearing short sleeved shirts and caps, off-loading wooden crates from a yellow pick up truck (or light truck) with Asahi Radio advertising on the side and two smartly dressed men and a lady sitting inside a red and white Toyota in the foreground, with text in Japanese above and below and a steering wheel at the top. Toyota is a Japanese company, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world, founded in 1937. Toyopet was the name of Toyota's small-sized vehicles from 1947 to the mid-1960s. The truck pictured was also known as Toyopet Stout, it is a successor of the Toyopet RK23 truck. Horizontal. Good condition, repaired folds and tears, backed on linen.
