About the Item

This breathtaking antique diamond engagement ring was crafted from solid 18k yellow gold with platinum top during the Edwardian era. It features a gorgeous, old mine cut diamond solitaire at its center with a rare cushion shape. The diamond is GIA certified as being exactly 1.13 carats in weight with colorless E color and clean SI1 clarity. It's very rare to find a true old mine cut diamond with such a fine color and it is even more rare to find it in this shape; this is a truly outstanding stone. The shank, as well as the small filigree-like design under the center stone, was crafted from solid 18k yellow gold with all of the diamond settings expertly crafted from a solid piece of 900 platinum. The center stone is accented on both sides by a pair of pavé set round single cut diamonds weighing approximately 6 points per pair. Those accent stones are also very fine quality with near-colorless G/H color and very clean VS1/VS2 clarity.
