Cognac Ombré Braided Fox Fur Shoulder Cowl Stole - O/S, 1950s

About the Item

As timeless as a set of pearls, fur shoulder cowls convey ladylike elegance and remains essential-wearing with strapless dresses. The braided feature on this piece permits a variety of uses: clasp around shoulders as a wrap, tuck one end through braid as a neck scarf, or drape over a coat as a V neck collar. We love how the ombré shading imparts even more depth and texture to this mesmerizing fur. Two lengths of variegated cognac fox twisted into a single oblong piece; two hooks and eyes clasp loose ends together. Backed in taupe silk velvet. fabric: fox noteworthy: professionally fur clean only alterations: none condition: very good with extremely light “cottoning” around top edge (see photo), but no drying or shedding measurements: width: 7” at widest, 5” at narrowest length: 47” label: no label present *Please note a portion of all proceeds from fur sales is donated to animal charities.
