Pierre Marly arrived in the world of optics more than 50 years ago, at a time when glasses styles were limited. Pierre Marly brought change by giving a new dimension, creating completely new original forms and introducing colors into his styles. He was the first to introduce fashion in spectacle trade in 1951.

In 1952 he created a model for Audrey Hepburn, and another for Sophia Loren, two models which made fury, and gave notoriety to the brand. Since then, Pierre Marly remained faithful in his image of avant-gardist optician creating a limited number of models and diffusing them in small series. It was a strong, creative, and sometimes provocative collection in unusual forms based on natural materials such as wood, horn of buffalo, scale, leather.

All of our vintage frames and sunglasses are actually out of the mid centuries. They have never been used and come from new old stocks.
