Art Deco Bakelite Bamboo Frames

About the Item

Art Deco hand carved bakelite eyeglass frames with wonderful patina. Cream bakelite with reddish-orange patination creates the look of bamboo with carved segmentation. We recommend only using opticians with experience in fitting vintage frames for the installation of new lenses. 1930's USA. Frames: Excellent condition. Very unusual. 5.25" Wide, Arm 5.5", Height 1.25". Lenses measure 1.75" x 1.5".
