1970s Lanvin Attributed Plaid Gown

Buyer Protection Guaranteed

My client removed the label back in the day to bring it into the country - a common practice back then. She swears it is Lanvin and I have have seen other pieces that are exactly the same fabric and style so I am also sure it is Lanvin. That being said it does not have a label so it is priced accordingly and you will be getting a fabulous deal. Had the label been present I would have probably added the number one in front of the listed price (at minimum). The gown is a raw silk that has a fantastic array of colors - almost every color in the rainbow is represented in that plaid! The bodice is fitted and has hand placed gathering, with light boning down each side, The skirt is fantastic - full and with a built in layer of tulle and lining between so your skin does not touch the tulle. A very long sash is attached at the back in a matching fabric - you can leave it long and dramatic at the back as we have for the back shots or wrap it around the waist as a sash as styled in the front shots. Mint condition!
