Antique Edwardian chiffon and lace blouse
About the Item
A stunning late Edwardian era black chiffon blouse.
It has a pretty cut out lace covered pattern to the front of the dress with darts down the front and pleat detailing.
The blouse has long sleeves with silk button ruffle cuffs.
The collar is short and ruffled in a cutaway style.
The blouse fastens up the back with buttons and a hook fastener at the nape of the neck, most buttons are missing so would need replacing.
No labels, made from chiffon and lace, c1900s
Very pretty and well made, would be a wearable piece with a few fixes.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some signs of use and wear commensurate with age, a couple of small holes up at the shoulder area.
