1920s Victorian Curtain Lace Dress

About

Scarlet O'Hara wasn't the first to take down the drapes in her moment of sartorial distress. This lovely and simple dress from the art deco era was made from earlier Victorian or Edwardian hand embroidered net, most likely from grandma's curtains. The simple design lets the embroidery shine on the front of the dress with some subtle details down the back. A beautiful and fun conversation piece to wear.
