About

The breathtaking watercolor floral-garden print used in this late 1920's silk-chiffon flapper dress has a fresh innocence that I find irresistible. A unique flying panel drapes across the bodice and down both arms. I love the way it flows when you walk! The piece work to create the skirting in particular is extraordinary; the drop-waist skims the body while the pleating gives the garment wonderful texture. The stylized charm of the silk-chiffon fabric personify the feminine ideal in clothing. It is amazing that a dress with this amount of detail and presence can literally feel almost weightless but it does. So romance and rare!
