Fall Winter 1988/89 Patrick Kelly Vintage Leopard Print Bodycon Runway Dress
About the Item
This rare vintage Patrick Kelly leopard print dress is in a stretch fabric with ruching at the black velvet paneled sides which hugs the body perfectly. We love this bodycon vintage dress and fell in love with the keyhole opening in bodice that is created with a fabric "choker". The dress closes with a back center zipper and has long sleeves. You can wear this incredible dress as a day or evening dress depending on accessories!
This dress is from the Fall/Winter 1988/89 collection and was prominently featured in the iconic advertising campaign for that season.
Patrick Kelly is one of our very favorite designers and we love the exuberance and joy that bursts from his pieces. He died much too young in early 1990, so we were unable to experience decades of his extraordinary talent. We think that every vintage Patrick Kelly piece is a true treasure.
