About the Item
This is an iconic outfit from Norma Kamali line called "Sweats" from 1980 that put her on the map as a designer. It is a skirt and snap front top two piece dress in an extremely soft heathered gray cotton iconic sweatshirt material. This same style outfit is in the MET costume collection.
The skirt has an elastic band at the waist and high hip, and a slight front wrap that closes with snaps in the front. The snaps can be undone for a slit up the front side. The sweater top also snaps down the front, with an elastic band at the waist and cuffs. It is collared with drop shoulder seams, and can be worn buttoned all the way to the neck, or in a plunging V. It has dolman sleeves and a fitted waist with a large elastic band, that is also found on the waist of the skirt.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Overall excellent on the exterior The top has soft velcro where you can add shoulder pads if wanted,as the original were removed. Some fuzziness on the inside from wash and wear -some fraying on the label.
