Vintage 1940s ladies lilac dress, Diamante
About the Item
A simply stunning vintage 1940s lilac dress.
Made from a heavy cotton / wool knit blend in a vibrant lilac colour, it is a knee length with a full skirt.
The dress has short sleeves with a turn up and is almost a shirt waist style, it has a long v neck with a rolled collar.
The top half of the dress is adorned with little diamanté stones.
It has a zip side fastening and is very fitted at the waist.
There are cotton loops for a belt but it does not come with a belt, it has the original shoulder pads but these are quite worn.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, there are some light brown marks to the skirts, presumably from storage, may wash out but not sure, no belt, some iron marks on the reverse from the diamante.
