Vintage 1960s Polka Dot Column Dress

This vintage 1960s column dress is giving Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche vibes, with its elegant shape and graphic polka dot print. This dress has a really wonderfully flattering cut, with a bodice fitted thanks to princess seams giving way to a straight column skirt— a very lengthening shape. I love the thoughtful construction details, like the low armholes and the decorative gold details on the straps. Bonus: it has pockets! The fabric contents are not listed but it feels like 100% cotton, and has a lightweight, breathable lining— the perfect fabrication for hot weather. Closes with a zipper in the back. Measurements: Best for a size X-Small and Small depending on measurements. NOTE: the straps fasten in the back with a hidden snap closure; it would be very easy/inexpensive to alter the dress and add forgiveness to chest measurement by simply moving the snaps and thereby lengthening the straps. Chest: 31" (for reference it is shown on a size 2/4 and a size 32C chest and it fits well. This bodice sucks you in a bit.) Waist: up to 25" (24.5" laid flat/unstretched) Hips are open Length: 56.5" from shoulder to hem Great vintage condition. There is some very minor wear at the top of the straps, only visible when inspected/not noticeable when worn. It presents beautifully when worn.
