1920's French Beaded Flapper Dress & Rare Matching Headpiece

About

A beautiful shade of blue green silk is completely covered in beads. There are bugle beads, caviar beads and hundreds of sparkling rhinestones all set against rows and rows of opalescent green sequins. The dress has deep slits on each side and the hem has a deep beaded fringe. The rare matching headpiece has a beaded silk band matching the dress at the front. A lattice work of bugle beads and rhinestones is used to create an open cage with beaded squares held in place by strands of bugle beads. A three foot long fringe of bugle beads cascades from the cap in a very dramatic way. It is extremely unusual to find a dress with the matching headpiece. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. Measurements; Bust 42" Waist 42" Hips 42" Length shoulder to hem 46" plus fringe
