Lovely 1920's dress with overall iridiscent seafoam sequins on silk tulle. Appliquees of silvery gold lame "leaf" motifs and bias swirls are attached to hip and skirt area. The edges of the leaves are over embroidered in hundreds of gold bugle beads. The edges of the dress are edged in silver lame.
An attached slip is inside. There are a few additional inches (approx. 7") of hem turned under in the period which has additional lame and sequined motifs...as does the slip if the wearer wishes to lengthen additionally.
Lovely coloring and easy wearable shape with graphic detailing. 1920's France.
Length 45", with 7" hem, bust 36", hip 46", shoulder 2.5". Overall Excellent condition for dress. Slip has damages at underarms which can be easily replaced.
