1950s Howard Greer & Bruce MacIntosh Silk Printed Dress

About the Item

Silk dress with an impressionistic red-toned floral print with black fore-color. The waist is extenuated by dual applied strips of velvet that is finished with a layered, decorated flounce. It has a boat neck on the face of the dress and a low back the complements the curved arm opening treatments on both sides. Greer and MacIntosh are known mostly for their work with Hollywood film studios for a numerous amount of productions during the 1940s and 1950s.
