1960's Ivory & Yellow Beaded Sequin Silk Ostrich-Feather Collar Hourglass Gown

About

A breathtaking early 1960's fully-beaded hourglass gown that is simply in a class of its own! This treasure has a fantastic abstract swirl pattern worked in, featuring three-dimensional scrolls around dazzling glass-beads. The base is a soft silk-crepe and the base sequin work is done in the same hue with a touch of iridescent sparkle. I love the alluring ostrich-feather collar which brings the perfect amount of drama to the design! The narrowing wiggle skirt with side-slit construction emphasizes a woman's seductive shape without adding any bulk or volume to the actual hips. This is the type of gown celebrity vixens, like Marilyn Monroe, made infamous. I totally see this garment gliding down the red carpet!
