Beautiful 1970s DAN WERLE of BEVERLY HILLS taupe / light brown demi couture lace silk crepe gown / maxi dress! Features a soft taupe silk crepe, with an attached lace embroidered crochet dolman sleeve overlay bodice. Draped skirt with petal hem slit that reveals just the right amount of leg when walking. Daniel Werle was a favorite amongst starlets of the 50s, 60s and 70s. His Beverly Hills boutique was a place to see and be seen. Loretta Lynn was famously his top client, as she only wore his designs for her prime time television shows. Hidden metal zipper up the back with hook-and-eye closure. A truly flattering and timeless piece. Couture quality, with the majority of the work completed by hand. Great with sandals or wedges for a daytime event, or heels for evening. In great condition.
