1920's French Couture Fuchsia-Pink Beaded Deco Silk-Chiffon Flapper Dress

About

Breathtaking 1920's French designer silk-chiffon evening dance dress. The ethereal magenta-pink color palette touches a deep chord in our collective aesthetic consciousness. As fashion lovers, we never tire from antique beadwork & sparkle; they will always be fresh to modern eyes. Glossy glass-beads are mixed in beautiful art-deco circular loop patterns. All that work is even more amazing when you realize the craftwork is all done by hand. I adore the rhinestone satin trimmed drop-waist design. Making a bold and dramatic fashion statement, this could have been worn in Boardwalk Empire at the end of 1925. Measurements Bust:34 inches Hips:37 inches Total Length:44 inches This antique dress is in excellent condition with no notable holes, discoloration or tears. There is hand-stitching throughout with inner bodice camisole. Only sign of age is minor beadloss which is hard to notice when worn. As pictured, there is a French designer label but the ink is Illegible. This piece is over 90 years old and is truly stunning!
