1950's Rosali Macrini Olive-Green Beaded Rhinestone Silk-Chiffon Evening Gown

About

Rosalie Macrini had her start designing for the famous Barbara Costume Company in New York, going on to buy the business in 1954. Macrini was best known for opulent evening looks and for her unique use of extravagant fabrics. This breathtaking olive green silk-chiffon and satin goddess gown is a perfect example of her genius. The elegant bodice is a low-cut plunge boatneck sleeveless. Hundreds of sparkling rhinestones and glass-beads have been carefully placed to add dazzling 3-dimensional texture. I adore the hourglass nipped-waist which really flatters the figure. The yards and yards of flowing silk-chiffon that finish off this garment create an alluring ethereal vibe. Stylish, feminine luxury will never go out of style. Measurements Bust:35-36 inches Waist:26 inches Hips:Free Sweep Total Length:56 inches This Rosali Macrini designer dress is in excellent condition with no rips, stains or holes. Perfectly working original back metal-zipper. This garment is over 50 years old and is truly stunning.
