1930's Ethereal Ivory-White Lace Bias-Cut Hourglass Gown & Matching Jacket

An ethereal ivory-white lace gown from the "Old Hollywood" era of glamour. The bodice is a seductive low-cut plunge bias-cut sleeveless with matching puff-sleeve necktie bolero-jacket. I love the hand-stitched ruffle detailing and scalloped nude underslip. The lower skirt is added in pointed inset seamed pieces typical of the time period and insanely hard to do on bias-cut fabric. This figure flattering garment accentuates the bust, skims the hip and flares out below the knee in a fishtail design. It is impeccably seamed and on the level of modern day couture. Here is an ensemble with attitude and elegant. Measurements Bust:34-35 inches Waist:28 inches Hips:36 inches Total Dress Length:62 inches Total Jacket Length:18 inches This antique French lace dress set is in excellent wearable condition with no rips, stains or holes. Perfectly working side metal-snaps. This gown is over 80 years old and is truly spectacular.
