About

One of the most recognizable dresses of all time! Halle Berry's ELIE SAAB Couture Academy Awards from 2002! This is the year she won the Academy Award, a year that marked history--she was the first African American woman to ever win an Oscar when she wore this insanely gorgeous gown! This evening dress was voted the 8th best Oscar gown of all time.
This is the taupe metallic version from Elie Saab. Features an incredible full taffeta skirt, with a long crinoline attached underneath. Fitted mesh bodice, with strategically hand embroidered pink and Ivory flowers throughout, encrusted with hand-sewn beads. The embroidery covers all the right places, whilst revealing just the right amount of skin. Hidden zipper up the side. Key-hole at top back neck with a button closure. The interior label was removed, but this authentic Elie Saab gown comes with the Brent Edward Vintage guarantee of authenticity. The construction itself is that of haute couture quality! In great condition. Retailed for $35,000.
