About the Item

Known as "the neckline king," Luis Estévez skyrocketed to stardom in 1955 with designs that celebrated--and flaunted--the female figure. Immaculately tailored, this bombshell cocktail dress strongly resembles the 1957 model featured in Look Magazine with a warning that read, "If you are shy, don't look at this ad." It sold out in a day. Sleeveless cocktail dress featuring draped shoulder bows, deeply plunging front and rear neckline and body con princess seams front and back. Padded breast cups for amplified curves. Rear metal zipper closure with top hook and loop; horsehair-backed hemline.
