Nat Kaplan Hot Pink Chiffon Evening Dress With Rhinestone Belt, 1960's

1960's Nat Kaplan hot pink chiffon evening dress with a rhinestone embellished belt. The lovely design has an ethereal quality and is reminiscent of a goddess gown silhouette. The transparent hot pink chiffon is layered over a pale pink crepe lining which creates striations of pink shades and layers of movement when the dress is in motion. It zips and hooks at the back with a coordinating rhinestone accented wide belt that sashes closed. Labeled at the interior side seam.
CONDITION
The dress is in good vintage condition with a minor pull at the ruched bodice as shown in photograph 15. There are also fabric bleeds on the interior lining as shown in photographs 13 and 14. The belt fabric is faded and shows some soiling and there is a subtle bend to one end of the rhinestone buckle which might eventually affect the integrity of the base metal. Professionally cleaned and ready for wear.
SIZING & MEASUREMENTS
Marked a U.S. size 10 and best fits a modern day size 6 - 8 with attention to the following measurements. For visual reference, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4 and the dress was a bit too large especially at the belt.
