Rare Jeanne Lanvin Art Deco Tulle Gown
About the Item
Rare and important Jeanne Lanvin Tulle Art Deco gown from Summer 1931 of grasshopper green silk tulle with natural tulle strips applied to create petal like patterns across the gown. Extremely intelligent in design with incredible High Art Deco influences and extraordinary craftsmanship. The seaming is integrated and engineered into the petal patterning to create a full voluminous dance skirt without conventional seaming.
Labeled. Collection Ete/ Summer 1931. Museum quality. Original green silk satin slip.
