This is a dream of a dress, classically elegant with timeless style. Designed by famed couture designer Arnold Scaasi, who dressed many First Ladies as well as Oscar Awards ensembles for celebrities such as Barbara Streisand for her Funny Lady win! The quality of the dress is immediately apparent by the weight of the dress, the hand of the velvet and the attention to details.
Features of this amazing gown include:
* Floor length with a rounded 21.5" front slit that is carefully matched through each layer and reveals an alluring glimpse of leg when walking
* Luxurious inky black velvet
* Off-the-shoulder
* Deep V sweetheart neckline
* Boned bodice, nipped waist and full skirt for a very feminine silhouette
* Multiple layers including satin lining, 4 layers of tulle and velvet
* Center back zipper
* Tag reads Scaasi Boutique
Excellent condition with no discernable flaws!
No size tags. I estimate best fit to be a modern size XS - Small. Please check your measurements to ensure a good fit. When fully zipped and laid flat, dress measurements are Bust: 34” Waist: 27” Hip: Free Length from shoulder to hem: 53.5”.
