Vintage 1980s Paris Couture Black White Novelty Champagne Glasses Hourglass Gown
About the Item
A whimsical and totally unique 'champagne flutes and sequined bubbles' novelty black and white satin gown by Tan Giudicelli of Paris. He was known for his surrealist approach to fashion and this dress is no exception. The elegant strapless bodice has an asymmetric white winged ruffle that cascades down the entire gown. This whole bottom panel is then heavily beaded and embroidered with celebratory glasses. We added many pictures so you could see how gorgeous the workmanship really is. This figure flattering garment accentuates the bust, nips in the waist while skimming the hips with the overlap skirt style. For every woman, novelty fashion is a wardrobe must-have. It's a style for all ages, simply because it exudes an undeniably youthful flair, and yet remains incredibly timeless. This gown that will definitely have the whole wedding or party talking.

This 1980's Tan Guidicelli of Paris couture gown is in beautiful condition with no rips, holes or alternations. Presents beautifully. Only sign of age is a few missing beads which are not noticeable when worn. Perfectly working original back zipper. A gorgeous investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
