About the Item
An incredible vintage two piece dress by Hardy Amies.
Made in a vibrant slightly two tone blue / green shot silk taffeta the set comprises of a long length evening gown and a matching bolero type jacket.
It is a teal blue with a metallic green shimmer in certain lights.
The dress is fitted at the bust and has a full skirt flaring out from the waist, it has shoestring straps and fastens up the back with a concealed zipper.
The jacket fastens at the waist with a peplum frill and ruffle collar and cuffs.
Labelled Hardy Amies, a beautiful couture piece by a well respected brand, this is a gorgeous two piece ready to be worn once again, late 1970s / early 1980s, a rare piece to own.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, wearable, there are two small pin holes / nibbles in the shoulder of the jacket, some scattered whitish marks though I'm unsure if these will come out with a clean, a little wear to the hem of the skirt.
