About

From acclaimed designer William Travilla a stunning silk gown comprised of layers of pointed red silk 'flames'. He is famous for among other things creating Marilyn Monroe's iconic subway vent blowing dress for the movie The Seven Year Itch. This dress is strapless with a boned bodice, piped cinched waist and a full skirt both with rows and layers of pointed ruffles all edges stitch finished- very work intensive. The bodice flames point up and on the skirt portion they point down. It has a back zipper and is fully lined in red silk.
