Late 20th Century Shorts

This is a very rare and unique one piece romper by designed by Franco Moschino in the late 1980's. The yellow, blue, red and brown print was inspired by Popeye, one of Moschino's favorite themes. There are cans of spinach, a pipe, and a complete sailor's uniform scattered throughout the entire romper. This shorts romper is so perfect to wear during the summer and can be worn with or without the fabric belt. The neckline has a notched collar and there are gold plated buttons with ""Cheap & Chic"" heart detail on the front. There are two identical fabric belts (we assume one was meant to be worn as a headband or scarf), there is one breast pocket, and there are 2 functional side pockets. We LOVE this outfit and will be sad to see it leave our studio! The back of the romper has two slits with 2 more ""Cheap & Chic"" buttons to close the slits. 100% Rayon. This is the epitome of camp fashion...
