About the Item
“Navigate,” Hedi Slimane’s legendary finale at Dior Homme, was ostensibly a tribute to mod culture. The runway was awash with slim mohair tops, military boots, trenches, and double-breasted coats. Slimane’s work had always intersected youth culture and Parisian sophistication, and Navigate was perhaps his finest execution of such an idea.
A variety of mohairs appeared on the season’s runway. The silhouettes varied; this version fits rather slim to the body, with a crew neck and cropped length. It made of a mohair and polyamide blend, which varies in fineness throughout the garment.
