Hollywood Legends Collection Barbie as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. This is Barbie as Eliza in her pink dress once she became a lady and visits Henry Higgins' mother. As New in the Box. Limited edition Reproduction of the 1959 edition of 1998. Eliza Doolittle is a fictional character and the protagonist of George Bernard Shaw's play Pygmalion and its 1956 musical adaptation, My Fair Lady. Eliza is a Cockney flower girl who goes to Professor Henry Higgins asking for elocution lessons after a chance meeting in Covent Garden.
