About the Item
Preowned, vintage Bonnie Cashin for Coach '2-in-1 Pouch' shoulder bag, released between 1972-1973. A unicorn, especially in this color! Made from a wonderfully patina'd red leather, it features turn lock pouches on each side and a non-adjustable, non-removable double shoulder strap. The pouches are unlined and hold quite a bit for their size!
Bonnie Cashin designed pieces that were stylish yet always practical, and this bag is a great example of her design aesthetic!
Made in the USA. Comes with hang tag, shown. Pre-creed bag with black metal Coach tag. Approximate measurements: 8.5in L x 6.5in H x 4in D with a 12.5in strap drop.
Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with signs of age, use and prior wear: some color variation and marks to the exterior leather including some veining and scars that are characteristic of Coach leather; the interior sections are clean. There is a small split to the leather binding on one shoulder strap (see last image, where both sides of the strap are shown and split is circled).
All-in-all this is a gorgeous and rare vintage bag that shows beautifully but is NOT for those seeking a pristine vintage bag!
