Circa 1940 France Sculptural silver lamé evening dress with a large oval neckline and small kimono sleeves by Lucile Manguin, member of the French haute couture union and daughter of the painter Fauve, dated 1938 - 1942. Amazing work of quilting with boutissé strands following the bust and flaring out at the bottom in accordion pleats.
