An antique Chinese Ming Dynasty style wooden waisted stool from the early 20th century, with rattan inset, horse hoof legs and cloud motifs. Born in China during the early years of the 20th century, this stool features a woven rattan square top sitting above a waisted apron accented with delicate low-relief cloud motifs. The stool is raised on four straight legs with horse hoofed extremities, connected to one another through side stretchers. With its elegant Ming style lines and wooden patina, this Chinese piece will be a great addition to any living room or bedroom, used as a side table or stool.
